Why do you write fiction?
Writing stimulates my creative juices.
Please tell us about your book. What ideas or images inspired this novel?
I got the idea of Looking for Jimmy Stewart when a friend of mine had been laid off from the airline and couldn’t find a job. The story is based on my love of Jimmy Stewart and a case of mistaken identity that adds lots of fun to the storyline.
Do you have an ideal reader in mind when you write.
Definitely! Someone from the age of 25-50 who has a sense of humor and of course give the book a great review. (hopefully)
Please describe your writing routine.
When kids and hubby leave the house, I make a mad dash to my cubbyhole, gather up the notes I wrote the night before and pound the keys until the gang returns for something or other.
What advice do you give writers just starting out?
Be patient with yourself. Enjoy what you’re doing and don’t get sidetracked by others comments. We in RWA have an unbelievable support system and it’s there for everyone.
