Hey, guys.
I just wanted to send a quick reminder that Building Celebration House will be featured tomorrow in a BookBub promotion. It’s currently priced at FREE!
Free is good, right?
So far, more than 900 readers have downloaded it. Reviews have begun to trickle in, including a five-star left yesterday. Thank you.
All of which makes me say: YIPPEE!
Hello —
I ask this question respectfully: Do your books have cliffhanger endings?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Barbara

Good morning, Barbara.
Thank you for asking this question. The answer: No. I don’t think my books have cliffhanger endings. I hope readers close their Kindle with a sense that the story is finished, and they are content with the ending.
With my trilogy, I have included the first chapter or prologue of the next book at the end. That’s just my way to entice readers to continue reading.
Does that answer your question? Thank you for writing.

Hi, Annette —
Thank you for telling me that your books don’t have cliffhanger endings. I will not buy a book that has a cliffhanger ending if I can avoid it. I think I speak for many readers when I say, “Thank you!”

Hi, Barbara. I’m so glad you wrote back to me. I’ve been worrying all day: does Celebration House have cliffhanger endings?!? I don’t think so. I try to wrap up every book with a satisfying end. I just include the first chapter or prologue to the next book at the very back as a way of encouraging readers to consider continuing on with the story. Again, thanks for writing back. Oh, and you’re welcome. I hope you will grab a copy of Building Celebration House and take a look.

Hi, Annette —
Actually, I already have a copy of “Building Celebration House.” I read the first part of it at Amazon, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of it. I’m already worried about her heart! I don’t see how she’ll be able to do all that work with a sick heart, but maybe the work will make her stronger. Or perhaps she’ll be able to meet her ghost in “person” on the other side. I’ll find out when I read the rest of it.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Barbara

Hi, Barbara.
I appreciate your comment about Carrie’s endurance. That’s one of the reasons Dr. Lionel sends Beth – to help Carrie with the house. I hope you enjoy the book.

I loved your “Celebration House” Series. My one question to you is that is there a third book I could not get enough of these characters, and are the ghosts if there is going to return? I read the two books in less than a week.
